1 cup BeMillety Bajra Rava (Pearl Millet Rava)
2 cups water
1 tablespoon oil or ghee
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup green peas
1/4 cup diced carrots
1/4 cup diced bell peppers
1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
Curry leaves (a sprig)
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish


Begin by heating oil or ghee in a pan and then add mustard seeds. Allow them to splutter, then add cumin seeds, asafoetida, and curry leaves.
Incorporate the chopped onions and sauté them until they become translucent.
Add green chilies, green peas, carrots, and bell peppers. Allow the vegetables to cook for a few minutes until they reach a slightly tender texture.
Rinse the BeMillety Bajra Rava in water and drain.

– Saute till dal and cashews turn light brown.
– Add green chillies, ginger, onions, a pinch of salt and cook till the onions turn translucent.
– Pour 3 measures of water for 1 measure of rava and bring it to boil.
– Continuously stir the contents while adding rava to avoid lumps. Cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
– Top it with your favourite Veggies & Spices
